SLACKQUOTE v1.0 (5/21/97)
An AfterDark module by Reverend Snazz

New versions probably available at http://www.peak.org/~mckeej/slack

INSTALLATION
------------
Unzip SLAQUOTE.ZIP.

Copy SLAQUOTE.AD into your AfterDark module directory (for example, my
AfterDark module directory is F:\AFTERDARK\AD30).

Copy SLAQ.TXT into your windows directory (for example, my Windows
directory is C:\WINDOWS).

I've run this on screen resolutions of: 1024x768, 800x600, 640x480.
1024x768 works best, 640x480 doesn't work so great. See "KNOWN BUGS",
below, for more information.

WARRANTY
--------

There isn't one. If your machine blows up, I don't assume any responsibility
for it. Its probably your fault anyway for not loving "Bob" enough.

I've tested this module with AfterDark v3.2 under Windows 95. It is a 16-bit
module, so it should run fine under Windows 3.1, using AfterDark v3.0 or
later.

QUOTES
------

Thanks to Rev. Noah J. Stewart for creating "Bob's" Aphorisms, where I got
the current contents of SLAQ.TXT from. Thanks to Dad for creating the
Macintosh AfterDark module that Noah borrowed the quotes from.

You can add quotes to the file, edit quotes, whatever. Quotes shouldn't be
more than around 200 characters a piece at this point - later versions might
change this.

Each line of text is considered a separate quote. Lengthy quotes will be
displayed as multiple lines.

SLAQ.TXT should always at least a few quotes in it. Like five or something.

KNOWN BUGS
----------

* Some quotes may appear overlapped on the screen at times.

* Some quotes may be displayed running off the side of the screen.

* Quotes may explode. Saftey goggles should be worn at all times.

* On lower screen resolutions, things might not be very pretty. I need
to resize the font to match the resolution. This will be fixed in the
  VERY near future.

FUTURE IMPROVEMENTS
-------------------

* Control of time between quotes & quotes before screen clear.

* Other cool shit.

GEEK INFO
---------
SlackQuote v1.0 was written in Microsoft Visual C++ v1.52.
