                           "Bob's" Aphorisms v1.1
IBM version by Rev. Noah J. Stewart
                       (c) 1996 Befuddled Biproducts

What does it do?
----------------
This is the IBM adaptation of Dad's Macintosh screensaver (for AfterDark).
Many thanks go to him for creating the original quotation file.

What is does it displays a random quote from a text file called
'APHORISM.TXT'.

What to do with it
------------------
After you've unzipped the archive, stick this here program in your
AUTOEXEC.BAT:

CD \APHORISM
APHORISM
CD \

Place these commands somewhere near the end of your commands. You can
replace the APHORISM directory with wherever you ended up unzipping the files.
You may also wish to create a batch file of your own, so that you can get a
inspirational message whenever you like. Simply EDIT APHORISM.BAT and type
in the above lines, preceded by a @ECHO OFF command. The CD commands are
important because APHORISM.EXE looks for the APHORISM.TXT in the current
directory.

How do I add new quotations?
----------------------------
Just enter 'em in using a plain old text editor. For "Bob's" sake, DON'T
wrap the text! The program looks for the end of the line, so you could screw
things up more than you can imagine!
