X-Day Ditty

From: Pastor X <pastorx@bellatlantic.net>

(To the tune of "American Pie" (of course))

"And we were screaming, Come BACK Mr. SubGenius Guy!" "Left the compound, down in Dobbstown, when the 'frop all went dry, us Pink Boys and Normals are screamin' and dyin', It's 1998, the 5th of July."

Feel free to hack this up and/or add new lyrics. I couldn't make Brushwood this year, and now I'm starting to regret it. Oh, I'll be up on my roof with my card at 6:30, but those were some days at The Last Drill. *sniff* Anyway, I'm gonna hang out on alt.slack off and on all night, just to see what happens.

"Bob" bless, well, everbody who paid.

I like it, I like it! We'll sing it together, long distance...

I couldn't make Brushwood this year, and now I'm starting to regret it. Oh, I'll be up on my roof with my card at 6:30, but those were some days at The Last Drill. *sniff* Anyway, I'm gonna hang out on alt.slack off and on all night, just to see what happens.

Same here; just couldn't break away, even though it's not THAT far, and I prepaid, and...I'm a dumbass! I could've bought a ticket for my unsaved PriMate (although I wonder if it does any good to buy for someone against their will). So she says, "I know how we can celebrate X-Day; we can clean out the composting toilet." I thought that's not bad; celebrate X-Day as eXcrement Day. Besides, she might want to be in a low, dark, out-of-the-way place, while I provide a smokescreen of local 'fropstitute, and wave my card around for ALL to see...

I won't be able to follow the proceedings on the 'net, however, because we have neither phone nor gridelectrc power at home, so I can only net from the office, 30 minutes' drive away...That is, until the inception of 4-dimensional MWOWM computing makes us all hardware-independent (with programmable time/space co-ordinates as well).
